Comments: I have two questions: 1. When are these available to the public, I heard about them at the Chicago Midwinter Meeting and they said they weren't available yet and I forget when they said they would be. 2. Do you offer any samples? I received a sample and have been giving them out, I LOVE Them!! Thanks, Susan Miller, LDH
“I would love to tell you why I love the Piksters. There are several versions of the Proxa Brush, but the Piksters are the answer to the non-flossing patient, they come in several different sizes which is extremely beneficial, they also are compact so the patient can take them along discretely You can also safely use them on Implants, which when a patient is in a hurry they don't want to use several different brushes.
I have been recommending these ever since I received a sample. What a great Product!”

I would highly recommend Piksters, I suffer from gum problems due to having many teeth removed prematurely as a child, consequently I have three bridges in the back of my teeth and proper cleaning has always been a problem. I was introduced to Piksters by my periodentist and found them greatly superior to anything I had tried earlier. The length of the brush and the ability to angle the brush so that it goes easily through the bridge makes cleaning so much easier and faster than floss and I get a superior clean. I have tried other brushes but find that the length of brush and the quality are not as good as Piksters. I have been using Piksters for 6 months and have just been to the dentist for my 6 months check up and he said that my gums had definitely improved.

Your “Piksters” are the best teeth cleaning tool, in conjunction with usual regular tooth brushing. Piksters, unlike floss, other toothpicks and brushes, with the colour coded different sizes, are effective, very inexpensive and easy to use, especially when travelling. Food is quickly removed from the most inaccessible places – no more abscesses or bad breath.

Most of my patients over the ages of 50 years, have spaces between their teeth which collect large amounts of food during eating. If these patients are not regular flossers, bacteria build up in these spaces with resultant inflammation and halitosis. I give these patients a packet of Piksters [Red] as a gift, to encourage them to clean between their teeth. I suggest that they use them either dry, while watching the news on TV, or wet, after tooth brushing with a conventional toothbrush. Piksters are far superior to all the previous generations of interproximal brushes. My wife has tried them all and much prefers the Piksters. I encourage my patients to carry one in their pocket or handbag.

Having a severe plaque problem for many years I go to my dentist every 4 months to have the plaque removed. I have tried all sorts of methods to contain it – mainly regular visits to my dentist, dental floss and compact interdental brushes – all to no avail as my teeth are close together and the interdental brushes would not go between them.
Recently my dentist gave me some Piksters to try. – WOW!
For the first time ever I can get the Piksters between my teeth and remove the plaque. I find them easy to use as the brush bends to get between back teeth.
I can sincerely recommend Piksters to any person who has trouble removing the build up of plaque.
The only problem I’ve had is being able to purchase them from chemists – hopefully this testimonial will help you to be able to get them into more retail outlets.
Sincerely
John Mellor
A quick note following our conversation this afternoon. We are so pleased with greatly improved dental "maintenance' using the Pikster brushes. Using them has become a very important part of the daily routine in this household. They are very effective without being difficult to use, and our teeth are feeling and looking very much better. Cannot consider running out of the supply , now that we have become so used to using them each day. Well done to manufacturer and supplier. Thankyou for your assistance today, Sue, it is such a treat to receive such courteous and helpful assistance. Best wishes,
Pat Lee
Recently my mum was given a packet of Piksters and gave both my husband and I one to try. We were both impressed by the difference it made to removing food particles from our teeth and prevented a build up of plaque. I have implants in the lower jaw and have always found other gadgets less effective. Is it possible to order a box of Piksters (as none dental professionals) from your company ASAP as the samples we used have broken. Hoping to hear from you soon.

I wish there was somewhere in the Castle Hill area that I could refer my patients to, to purchase Piksters because it’s a hassle for me to stock them.
Dr Sibel Erel - Dentist, Castle Hill
With the previous brand of interdental brushes my patients were using (TePe) I found that acceptance levels were variable, but since we’ve switched to Piksters the patient acceptance level is substantially better. I’m personally using them myself now and if I can get the response with my patients mouths that I’m getting myself I’d be very happy.
We do sell Piksters at the surgery, but it would be much easier if they were available in the supermarket and I would fully support your efforts in this area.

I had a patient last week that for years I’d been scaling and root planing and the gingival response was fair to average, but since we’ve got her on to Piksters there’s been a dramatic improvement in her gingival condition. It’s not a chore for her to use them, in fact she’s happy to use them. She is positively excited about using them, which is unusual for a dental product.

I love them, but more importantly my patients love them. They’re like toothpicks on steroids and people don’t mind using toothpicks. They use them because they want to – not because I told them to.
Dr Myles Lear - Dentist, Neutral Bay
We have been quite big users of the TePe brushes but since we’ve been using Piksters many of our patients are finding the wire is substantially stiffer and doesn’t bend as much and prefer to use Piksters now. We’re also finding that the lower pricing encourages use, and patients prefer to use Piksters for this reason too.
Dr Robert Oblak - Dentist, Upwey VIC
We’ve been stocking TePe's and we’ve started stocking the Piksters. The reaction from the dentists has been so favourable that I’ve decided not to stock the TePe's anymore. When I told the TePe rep he said “Ours are better” and I said “They’re not, and you know it”.
Gary Berry - Dental Consumables, VIC
“Piksters are terrific. Our patients come back in say they’re fabulous and they want more and they want to get them from their chemist”
Aimee – Dental Hygienist, Melbourne
“We recommend Piksters to our patients in preference to other products simply because they are more durable, they’re not bending and their easier to use, in fact I use them myself.”
Dr Ian Ridley – Melbourne
“I’ve tried the Colgate interproximal brush and they’re a bit too thick to use and the Te Pe ones snap off too easily and they don’t last as long. I think Piksters are the best and that’s the truth”.
Dr. Sibel Erel - Castle Hill Sydney
The twist makes all the difference. Piksters are superior to all other interdental brushes and they’re better value.”
Wendy Sih – Dental Hygienist, Morpeth Vale, SA
Further to our communication, thankyou for information as to which chemists should have the Piksters. Have tried several so far without success. The initial two (2) given to me (1 for wife, 1 for self) by my dentist are marvellous. The alternate products we have bought and tried in our search do not compare.
Would be most grateful if you could send a few spares as we resume are chase.

I have recently seen several patients for their 6 monthly checkup whom I had given a packet of Piksters at their last appointments. I’d considered them to be “lost causes” but to my surprise there has been a great improvement in their gingival condition. I honestly believed the novelty would wear off long before they’d finished the packet, but they actually bought more. The general response is that they are easy to use and one or two have said that their gums don’t bleed nearly as much. These patients are actually seeing the benefits themselves and are positively excited about using them, which is unusual for a dental product.

I am writing to tell you what a great product the Piksters are!
A dentist gave me a packet of the Size 2 (Yellow) ones and I have used them all - I find them much easier than the floss, especially for hard to get at "places".
I tried another brand of a similar product and found it to be too wide to get between my teeth and there was no other size choice, as there is with the Piksters. So I'm sold!!
Thankyou for your help and I know where I can get them I will ask my local pharmacy to stock them also.
Kind Regards
Maree McCorquodale, Hepburn Springs Victoria
I really believe they are an excellent product. In fact I have my friends in Los Angeles intrigued!
Mike, Western Australia.
My dentist gave me a sample pack and I love them, nothing else seemed to work.Piksters does and I really do love them.
Susan Lafollette, Onsted, Mi US.
I have tried floss, little brushes etc etc, but this is the first product that I can use with pleasure. Jeshri Pattni noticed that my dental hygiene has improved.
